Job Description

Alternative Path is seeking a skilled IT professional to join their team. This role involves maintaining and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring its functionality and reliability.

This position plays a crucial part in supporting the organization's employees by providing efficient and effective IT services. As a desktop support engineer, you will be involved in every stage of project development, from initial concept to ongoing iterations.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications, as well as familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and other network administration tools.

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, along with proven experience in desktop support or a similar role.

Key responsibilities include administering user accounts in Active Directory, managing incident and service request management process, utilizing Nexthink for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting, handling grant application/drive/folder access requests, and facilitating consultant onboarding/offboarding processes.
