Associate Director - Reporting and Treasury

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our Financial Reporting and Treasury charter. This critical role involves timely and accurate financial reporting, technical accounting compliance, and driving consistency across multiple reporting entities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian GAAP and IND-AS, with experience in owning financial reporting, leading quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, and serving as a technical accounting subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning financial reporting across the group – ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant statutory and management reporting under Indian GAAP and IND-AS.
  • Leading quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, working closely with internal and external auditors.
  • Serving as the technical accounting subject matter expert for the organization; assessing and implementing new accounting standards and ensuring appropriate disclosures.
  • Driving IPO-aligned reporting practices, including audit readiness, restatements, consolidated entity reporting, and regulatory filings.
  • Partnering with FP&A, business finance, and investor relations teams to ensure alignment between internal and external reporting frameworks.
  • Building and scaling internal SOPs, reporting templates, and close calendar for group-wide implementation.
  • Liaising with external advisors, valuation experts, and consultants to ensure accounting treatment aligns with industry benchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong exposure to IND-AS, consolidation, and complex technical accounting areas (e.g., revenue recognition, ESOP accounting, mergers).
  • Prior experience in a pre-IPO or listed company is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management with auditors and senior leadership.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with IPO filing processes (DRHP/FRHP) or working with Big 4 auditors.
  • Ability to build and lead small teams while working hands-on when needed.
