Senior Payroll Professional

As a member of our Finance Operations team, you will play a critical role in managing and administering timely, accurate, and efficient processing of payroll operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining payroll account ledgers, preparing reports, resolving payroll discrepancies, and performing routine internal audits. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll department.
You will also focus on recording and analyzing financial transactions, receiving and paying invoices, and preparing analysis and account reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.
Our team manages financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting.

- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and/or proven record of success in payroll issue resolution and multi-state tax with emphasis in the following areas:
- Be a resourceful and creative problem solver - constructively working independently and with team members to find solutions; utilizing standard suite of work solutions such as SAP R3, Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Business Warehouse, Oracle, etc.
- Understand multi-state taxation, tax payments/deposits, and year-end reporting (W-2, W-2c, etc) as well as federal and state regulations;
- Understand daily payroll department operations and industry leading practices;
- Analyze and reconcile payroll activity, identifying possible issues, making recommendations, and supporting conclusions;
- Work knowledge of ADP and/or Workday and assist in maintaining vendor relationship;
- Build customer service, teaming, and reporting skill sets continuously;
- Analyze data and create data insights to drive decision making by leveraging various tools;
- Be organized with high attention to detail;
- Multi-task and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment;
- Work in a virtual/global team;
- Interact with other departments to resolve data discrepancies and prepare proper documentation.
