As a seasoned Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead structural engineering projects for port development. You will be responsible for designing and analyzing key structural components such as breakwaters, jetties, quays, docks, and seawalls.

  • You will oversee the execution of port infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and project timelines.
  • You will work closely with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs into the overall project.
  • You will identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that all structural designs and construction work comply with regulatory guidelines and safety standards.
  • You will supervise construction activities on-site, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality standards for structural integrity and sustainability.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on marine and port infrastructure, including significant PMC experience.
  • A Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering, specializing in marine structures or coastal engineering.
  • Proven experience in project management of large-scale port projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and other tools for design and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of marine structures, including their response to wave forces, tide variations, sediment movement, and marine environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Expertise in contract management, procurement, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to present design concepts and project progress to stakeholders and clients.
