Job Title: Chief Structural Design Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Structural Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing steel structures, including frames, platforms, pipe racks, and other industrial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions using industry-standard practices and codes (AISC, IS, Eurocode, etc.).
  • Perform detailed connection design and analysis to ensure structural integrity and safety.
  • Conduct structural analysis and modeling using STAAD.Pro and SACS software.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and validate design calculations, reports, and drawings to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including piping, mechanical, and civil engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical support during construction and resolve site queries related to structural design.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in steel structure design and detailing, with a strong understanding of structural codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and SACS software, with experience in performing complex structural analyses and modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in structural steel design.
