Job Description

This role involves overseeing the security of cloud infrastructure, ensuring that systems and data are protected from unauthorized access and potential threats. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud security tools and technologies, including infrastructure hardening, identity/access management, and security operations.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Harden Linux/Windows environments to prevent vulnerabilities and attacks.
  • Configure Active Directory and IAM policies to ensure secure access to resources.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Implement tools like HashiCorp Vault and OWASP scanners to enhance security posture.
  • Mentor junior security engineers to develop their skills and knowledge in cloud security.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

  • Familiarity with SIEM, IAM, and logging tools.
  • Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar.
  • Understanding of AD and domain policies.
  • At least one security certification (e.g., Security+, CEH, AZ-500).
