Cloud Security Professional Wanted

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Analyst to strengthen our cloud security posture and lead detection, investigation, and response to security incidents in cloud environments.

This role requires the ability to analyze complex security threats and develop effective strategies to mitigate them. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead incident response and handling for cloud threats, ensuring rapid response and minimizing business impact.
  • Investigate and analyze security alerts from SIEM, CSPM, and native cloud security tools.
  • Develop and implement cloud security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure cloud incident preparedness and resilience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience investigating and responding to security incidents in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Proven ability to triage and analyze security alerts from SIEM, CSPM, and native cloud security tools.
  • Understanding of the incident lifecycle, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK Cloud Matrix and cloud-specific threat models.
  • Proficient in AWS and/or Azure core security services, including GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, IAM, S3 security controls, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Monitor, Azure AD, and RBAC.
  • Ability to review and interpret cloud logs, including CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, Azure Activity Logs, and other relevant logs.
  • Experience with one or more SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR tools, and forensic analysis tools.
  • Strong log analysis skills for detecting anomalous activity in cloud workloads, containers, identities, and APIs.
  • Understanding of access control models, including least privilege and IAM policy review.
  • Knowledge of network security concepts in cloud, including security groups, NACLs, firewall rules.
  • Ability to automate repetitive security tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with ability to document Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lessons learned from incidents.
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
