About the Position

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to design and develop innovative projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating cutting-edge mechanical designs using industry-leading software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in NPD (New Product Design) – Concept Creation, Detail Design, Modeling & Drawing using CAD tools.
  • Handling large assemblies using simplified reps in Creo.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing processes, including Machined and Sheetmetal components.
  • Understanding of GD&T.
  • Knowledge of PDM/PLM tools and Bill of Materials.
  • Providing solutions to new concept designs.
  • BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings, and drawing standard knowledge.
  • Procuring new parts.
  • Knowledge in Semiconductor domain is an added advantage.

Skill Set:

  • Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical engineer
  • 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks) and PDM vault.
  • Expertise in PLM system – ECO/ECN.
  • Hands-on experience in GD&T and stack-up analysis.
  • Basic understanding of Cable harness and Simulation.
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing methods and material selection.
  • Exposure to electrical components.

Requirements:

  • NPD/NPI experience.
  • Experience in Electromechanical product design.
  • Experience in Semiconductor products is beneficial.
  • Experience in Sheet metal design, Machined component design, and Gas lines.
  • Extensive experience in Creo.
  • Experience with SAP, ECTR, Wind chill, or Teamcenter.
  • Must have good skills in 3D concept development, 2D development drawings.
  • Knowledge in GD&T and Tolerance analysis.
  • Engineering change management.
  • Good understanding in manufacturing process and welding's.
  • Good understanding in Plating's, Coating, and surface finish requirements.
  • BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings, and drawing standard knowledge.
