Designing Innovative Solutions for the Future

As a Junior Mechanical Designer, you will play a key role in creating innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing large assembly designs using simplified reps in Creo, as well as applying knowledge of manufacturing processes and GD&T principles to ensure designs meet client requirements.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about designing innovative solutions and has excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3-7 years of experience in mechanical design with CAD tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new product designs using CAD tools such as Creo and AutoCAD.
  • Implement large assembly designs using simplified reps in Creo.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes and GD&T principles to ensure designs meet client requirements.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials and manufacturing drawings while adhering to drawing standards.
  • Source new parts and materials for projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in mechanical design with CAD tools.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of PLM/PDM tools like Enovia and Windchill.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
