Job Title: Technical Solutions Manager

About the Role:

  • Drive a team focused on advertising and marketing tech solutions as a Technical Solutions Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong Technical Background:
    • Full-Stack Development: Knowledge in web and mobile development across front-end and back-end technologies to guide engineers and make informed decisions on architecture and scalability.
    • AI and Data Science Acumen: Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and data engineering, as these will be critical for predictive analytics, ad optimization, and personalization features.
    • MarTech Familiarity: A solid understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, ad platforms, automation tools, and performance metrics.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Agile and Scrum: Experience in agile project management and knowledge of methodologies like Scrum or Kanban to manage sprints and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Goal-Oriented Roadmapping: Ability to create a roadmap aligned with business objectives, ensuring the team is working toward high-priority goals.
    • Efficient Resource Management: Balancing resources to meet project demands, managing workloads, and making adjustments based on project requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to act as a bridge between the development team and other departments, such as marketing, sales, and product management.
    • Client and Stakeholder Management: The ability to work with clients or stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into technical requirements for the team.
    • Cross-Disciplinary Understanding: Basic knowledge of UI/UX, content creation, and ad operations to support and coordinate with designers, data analysts, and marketing specialists.
  • Strategic Vision and Product Orientation:
    • Product-Minded: Strong product sense with an understanding of MarTech user needs and emerging industry trends, especially in ad tech, programmatic advertising, and audience personalization.
    • Focus on Innovation: Ability to drive innovation, exploring new technologies or methodologies that can give the product a competitive edge.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skills in data interpretation to measure product success, understand campaign performance, and refine features or functionality based on real-world usage.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Mentorship and Coaching: Ability to mentor junior developers and support other team members' professional growth, helping them upskill and stay engaged with the project.
    • Conflict Resolution: Handling team dynamics, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive team culture.
    • Visionary Leadership: Inspiring and motivating the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, and aligning individual contributions with the company's strategic goals.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving:
    • Flexible and Adaptive: Quick to adapt to changes in the tech stack, project scope, or client requirements, while keeping the team aligned and motivated.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7-10+ years in software development, with 2-5 years in a lead or managerial role in tech or MarTech-focused companies.
  • Education: A background in computer science, data science, or a related field is beneficial, though experience and hands-on skills may outweigh formal education.
  • Tools & Frameworks: Familiarity with agile project management tools (JIRA, Trello), collaborative platforms (Confluence, Slack), and development best practices.
  • Domain Knowledge: Specific experience in advertising technology or marketing technology platforms will be a strong asset.
