We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and automating quality processes to ensure products meet specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for building tools and tests that help create customer experiences that delight customers. This includes developing functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases, and automated scripts used in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
The successful candidate will execute manual and automated test cases that validate functionalities, code quality, and report results following all formal test architectures and project processes. Additionally, they will track metrics such as velocity, code quality, and defect density across all phases and report these to management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure product quality, functionality, and reliability.
- Build tools and tests to create customer experiences that delight customers.
- Develop functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases, and automated scripts used in SDLC.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to validate functionalities, code quality, and report results.
- Track metrics such as velocity, code quality, and defect density across all phases and report to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) or related field required.
- 3+ years of application testing experience.
- Experience with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
- Understanding of relational database models and GUI tools to interact with them.
- Experience working in Agile environment.
- Exposure to using bug tracking and test case management tools.
- Experience testing multi-browser and mobile device systems.
- Good customer empathy.
- Can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about building amazing products.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
