Job Description">

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team.

">

As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing using Typescript with tools like Playwright or Taiko.

">

You will align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories, execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.

">

You will also create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation, identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing, collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently, follow automation best practices, and participate in peer reviews.

Additionally, you will prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), support manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting, track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.

">Required Skills & Qualifications">

1–3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.

">

Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center projects.

">

Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools and programming-based test automation toolsets.

">

Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging. Exposure to QA lifecycle tools like JIRA, or equivalent.

">

Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards. Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge on CI/CD.
