Job Opportunity: Product Owner

This is a pivotal role that requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to translate complex product requirements into actionable user stories.

The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with an Agile development team and managing a product backlog, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Backlog Management: Creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Agile Execution: Participating in Agile ceremonies and serving as the voice of the customer
  • Requirements Clarification: Providing clarification and understanding of user stories and business requirements
  • User Story Creation: Writing clear, concise, and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and dependencies
  • Acceptance & Testing: Reviewing and accepting completed work to ensure it meets the definition of done
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitating effective communication between engineering, UX/UI, and the broader product team
  • Technical Empathy: Understanding technical implications of product decisions and managing technical debt
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven experience working directly with an Agile development team and managing a product backlog
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to translate complex product requirements into clear, actionable user stories
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to unblock teams and keep projects moving forward
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Azure DevOps
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
