Senior Hospitality Engineering Director

Our ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with extensive experience in managing complex engineering projects and teams within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive engineering excellence and consistency across all properties.
  • Lead capital expenditure projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional quality standards.
  • Establish benchmarks and performance metrics for engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

Maintenance and Operations:

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure optimal functioning of MEP systems, promoting energy efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with resort teams to resolve issues promptly, fostering a collaborative culture.

Energy and Sustainability:

  • Drive energy conservation initiatives aligned with global hospitality standards, reducing environmental impact.
  • Implement sustainable practices promoting eco-friendliness, social responsibility, and economic viability.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all properties, mitigating risks and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Conduct audits and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries, upholding the highest safety standards.

Team Development and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor engineering teams to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Promote a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement, driving employee engagement and retention.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Advanced certifications in facility or energy management are preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in hospitality engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions.
