System Infrastructure Specialist

A highly skilled professional is required to provide day-to-day support of client networks, servers, and overall infrastructure.

The System Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure remotely and at customer site(s) when needed.

  • Maintain the stability and performance of our clients' IT systems.
  • Help architect and implement a wide range of IT projects, such as high availability, virtualization, and cloud services.
  • Be the escalation path for issues that desktop engineers or helpdesk staff cannot resolve.
  • Work closely with managers, service coordinators, and other engineers to meet customer service-level commitments and provide world-class customer service.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues, remote or on-premise as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, optimize, and maintain Windows-based networks and servers.
  • Manage Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 administration, and Windows security.
  • Operate firewalls and switches (Cisco, SonicWALL, Dell, Fortinet).
  • Manage heavily virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Utilize on-premise and cloud-based backup solutions and cloud-based email systems (O365, GSuite).
  • Experience with MDM solutions (Intune, Jamf, etc.)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • CCNA or equivalent network experience is desired.
  • MSCE or equivalent server experience is desired.
  • Technical Certifications are a definite plus.
