Design Leader

We're seeking a seasoned Data Centre Design & Engineering professional to drive the end-to-end design of Colocation & Hyperscale Data Centres.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and sign-off on detailed engineering designs across Electrical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Fire & Life Safety, and Controls.
  • Evaluate designs for compliance, constructability, reliability, sustainability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with construction, procurement, commissioning, and client teams for seamless project delivery.
  • Manage A&E firms, vendors, and consultants – reviewing and approving technical submissions.
  • Optimize designs for PUE, WUE, CAPEX/OPEX through value engineering.

Key Requirements:

  • 12–15 years' experience with 7–10 years in Data Centre design.
  • Deep expertise in MV/LV systems, cooling technologies, BMS/DCIM, and mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, ETAP/SKM, CFD, Trane Trace, Pipe-Flo, Bluebeam.
  • Strong knowledge of global standards: Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, NFPA, TIA-942, NEC/IEC, IS codes.
  • Proven leadership in hyperscale data centres, cloud platforms, or mission-critical projects.
