Major Responsibilities:

  • Systemic Accountabilities:

The role involves facilitating discussions to anticipate future needs and opportunities and communicating where technology can help. This includes collaborating with colleagues to raise new project proposals and mandates and supporting the definition of the business case, conducting assessments of processes, and detailing requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Collaborating with project teams to determine scope, goals, and objectives;
  2. Guiding the Business Lead to define business value and associated metrics;
  3. Interviewing business partners, organizing and running requirements sessions with groups of users;
  4. Analysing and modelling relevant business processes, rules, and data by documenting the as-is process and providing guidance to the business analyst to create the to-be process;
  5. Determining data flows and sources, preparing data conversion or migration needed to support goals and uses in a process;
  6. Collaborating with project teams to define solutions that deliver business value;
  7. Contributing to outlining performance qualification testing and validation plans;
  8. Analysing, understanding, collecting, testing, implementing, and maintaining safety database configuration changes functions from Global Development and External line functions;
  9. Performing QC check on configuration changes, identifying discrepancies between the request and the implementation, and resolving or initiating their resolution;
  10. Understanding Global Development processes to support and lead process improvement initiatives;
  11. Performing first-line operational support for safety database users and providing system administration support for Global Development applications as appropriate;
  12. Developing, providing support to create complex specialized reports from PS&PV systems as appropriate;
  13. Caching, training, and mentoring new Experts Systems Management as appropriate and bringing them to the next level;
  14. Facilitating audit and inspection preparedness and leading discussions with auditors and inspectors;
  15. Assuming full responsibility for routine operations and projects, whether as an individual contributor, team leader, or system owner;
  16. Ensuring system traceability and adhering to proper documentation practices to manage and maintain technical and procedural artifacts;
  17. Collaborating effectively with external service providers and supporting governance and performance activities.
