Job Description:

Revenue Assurance and Contract Management

  • Review Statements of Work to determine proper revenue recognition criteria and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with contractual terms and compliant with IFRS 15.
  • Verify statements of work/POs for potential risks and ensure they are compliant.
  • Agree and sign statements of work/POs before work is undertaken.
  • Fulfill information requests for internal, external financial, and client audits.
  • Create and update monthly revenue recognition schedules for all portfolio clients.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Client Teams, and FP&A on revenue forecasting.
  • Build relationships and understand service offerings and deliverables provided by Client Teams.
  • Ensure appropriate revenue recognition during period-end while reviewing necessary accruals.
  • Review month-end variances to forecasted revenue, providing detailed explanations to Commercial Finance and Client Teams.
  • Perform month-end tasks to verify client revenue and review accrued and deferred income balance sheet accounts.
  • Supply Commercial Finance Team with key information for forecasting.
  • Maintain a robust audit trail for revenue accounting and reporting.
  • Participate in and provide inputs for the month-end close review meeting with Commercial Finance and Financial Control teams.
  • Drive continuous improvements in revenue reporting processes.
  • Analyze and report changes to revenue and revenue-related balance sheet lines, identifying and managing risk items.
  • Liaise with Operations Team to ensure accuracy of client invoicing.
  • Assist in reviewing unbilled amounts with Operational Finance and Client Services.

Requirements:
- CPA/CA with 4-6 years' experience or semi-qualified accountant/finance graduate with 9-11 years' experience in Revenue accounting.
- Knowledge of D365, MediaOcean, Nexelus, or similar client job costing/media booking and accounting platforms.
- Excellent IT skills and Microsoft D365 accounting system experience.
- Strong Excel and system skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and navigate ambiguity and change effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset and strong work ethic.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills across various stakeholders.
