Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating traction power projects from initial concept to final execution.

  • Develop comprehensive traction power designs, incorporating earthing and bonding principles in line with relevant industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with industry leaders to deliver complex projects throughout the asset lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement traction power systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed tender proposals that meet client requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct thorough technical reviews of reports, feasibility studies, and option selection documents.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
  • Engage in AC/DC traction electrification design works, providing guidance and support to junior engineers as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in traction power design, drawing, reporting, and calculation.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as CDGES, PSCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, DiaLux, Opentrak, and OpenPowerNet.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC/EN/IEEE/Australian Standards and industry best practices.
  • Experience in substation design and site work on traction electrification projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics or Power engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in traction power supply engineering design.
