Data Architecture Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced data architecture expert to join our team. As a seasoned professional in this field, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data architectures for cross-product reporting solutions.

Your primary goal will be to own the end-to-end data architecture, defining canonical insurance data models, establishing robust data contracts and versioned schemas, designing multi-tenant data isolation and security, building ingestion and transformation layers, standing up semantic layers, and instituting data quality and observability.

You will also be responsible for governance & compliance, driving performance, reliability & cost, publishing tooling roadmaps, enablement, and release management for data.

Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams is essential to prioritize analytics use cases and deliver roadmaps tied to customer outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years in data engineering/architecture, with 5+ years architecting analytics platforms for SaaS or enterprise products.
  • Proven experience designing lakehouse/warehouse architectures and event-driven data pipelines at scale.
  • Strong dimensional/star schema and semantic modeling; familiarity with Data Vault and canonical modeling patterns.
  • Expertise with Azure data stack and Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of insurance data.
  • Hands-on with Python/SQL; CI/CD for data.
  • Grounding in data governance, lineage, and security.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
