Job Title: Senior Data Architect

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.
  • Optimize Spark jobs and ensure efficient data processing and storage to achieve business goals.
  • Create and maintain scalable Databricks notebooks, workflows, and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and manage data processing jobs to guarantee high availability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to integrate Databricks with other services.
  • Stay current with the latest Databricks and big data technologies and trends to drive innovation.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in development and maintenance in a data engineering project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience working in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS platforms) and familiarity with cloud tools and technologies.
  • Proficiency in building and optimizing data pipelines and workflows in Databricks.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Scala.
