Job Title: Senior Data Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to lead our data engineering team in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Solution Architecture: Develop and implement cutting-edge data architecture designs, leveraging technologies such as Azure Data Platform, Power BI, Synapse, and Databricks.
  • Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering high-quality data solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, Microsoft Fabric features, and updates to recommend improvements and drive innovation within our data ecosystem.
  • Data Strategy: Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  • Governance: Establish and maintain data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within our organization.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 9-12 years of experience in data engineering, including 5+ years in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and at least 1 year in MS Fabric projects.
  • Expertise in solution architecture, leadership, stakeholder management, innovation, data strategy, governance, performance optimization, and proven experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance principles.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
