Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert

The primary function of a Cybersecurity Expert is to safeguard an organization's electronically stored information assets by developing and implementing comprehensive security programs. This includes protecting against various types of cyber threats, ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to mitigate potential vulnerabilities and protect against cyber-attacks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the development and implementation of a comprehensive security program.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify network, application, and process vulnerabilities.
  • Develop strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and maintain a high level of cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with external partners and manage relationships with vendors to facilitate the execution of applicable processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
  • IAT Level-2 technical certification (CompTIA Security+ or CISSP) or ability to obtain within first 90 days of hire.
  • At least 5 years of experience performing role of Information Security Analyst or SOC.
  • Demonstrated experience in responding to, managing, and resolving security incidents.

Candidates should have strong working knowledge and experience with primary Information Security, Privacy, Risk, and compliance standards and frameworks such as NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies.
