Job Title:

A Cybersecurity Specialist with a focus on Network Architecture is sought after to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, configure, and monitor Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) for optimal network security and performance.
  • Implement and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and security rules for application protection, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.
  • Configure and maintain load balancers (Fortinet, F5, or other) to ensure seamless application availability and scalability.
  • Architect and implement secure network designs aligned with best practices and business requirements, minimizing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance.
  • Conduct regular firewall rule reviews, change management, and network segmentation initiatives to enhance overall network security posture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Perform periodic vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation planning to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for project implementation and support, fostering strong relationships and driving successful outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation related to firewall policies, network topology, and security controls, ensuring easy access to critical information.
  • Monitor and respond to network security alerts and incidents promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 4–6 years of experience in network security engineering, with direct exposure to Fortinet security platforms and a strong understanding of network protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer, as well as experience in load balancing technologies (FortiADC, F5, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of Web Application Firewall deployment and tuning, including SSL VPN and routing configurations.
  • Experience designing and implementing secure network architectures, with a focus on threat prevention and mitigation.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN, BGP, etc.), as well as knowledge of IPS/IDS, NAT, firewall policies, and SIEM integration.
  • Familiarity with log forwarding from network devices and strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in networking and cybersecurity, expertise in firewall administration, routing, switching, network design, architecture, and security architecture, with a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.
