Job Title: Senior Fabrication Manager

Location: Pune

Division – Manufacturing

Experience – 12-15 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end fabrication operations across multiple units, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement fabrication strategies aligned with production plans and customer requirements, driving process improvements and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, planning, and quality departments for seamless execution of fabrication activities.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (productivity, utilization, rejection rates, etc.) and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Mentor the fabrication team, identify skill gaps, and plan effective training programs to enhance performance.
  • Manage subcontracting activities, vendor performance, and maintain documentation, reports, and ensure audit readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in structural, pressure vessel, or equipment fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, fabrication software/tools, and production planning systems.
