Software Development Engineer

Do you want to develop the next generation of digital payment products for a leading e-commerce company? Do you enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment, solving complex technical problems and delivering innovative solutions?

The role involves building product and technology solutions to create great payments experiences using various technologies to solve complex problems related to distributed systems, scalable architecture, machine learning, and algorithms.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Understand the fundamentals of different Payment Products mainly UPI.
  • Drive technical solutions/architecture for UPI Services that can scale to millions of customers.
  • Design and develop robust, scalable enterprise systems with wide-ranging applications. Lead architecture for large components and implement to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions with a bias toward standards based and flexible designs.
  • Develop a strong culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration.
  • Build relationships and earn trust with partner teams.

A day in the life

You will have the opportunity to design and implement systems that delight our customers. You will also learn how things are built and deployed, brush up on operational excellence, and apply it on the job.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
