Lead Fundraising and Communication Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Fundraising and Communication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and goals.

You will lead a team of professionals in designing and executing integrated fundraising campaigns across various channels, including individual partnerships, corporate partnerships, high net worth individual engagement, institutional donors, legacy partners, and digital fundraising.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and leading the implementation of the fundraising strategy;
  • Ensuring alignment of fundraising goals with long-term sustainability objectives;
  • Maintaining strategic partnerships with local, national, and international donors and stakeholders;
  • Enhancing the visibility and influence of our organization through proactive engagement in media and industry;
  • Designing and executing integrated fundraising campaigns;
  • Expanding and diversifying income sources;
  • Strengthening donor stewardship systems;
  • Identifying and leveraging new channels and technologies for fundraising;

In addition to your fundraising expertise, you will also be responsible for leading the development of the communication and brand strategy to increase visibility and support fundraising efforts. This includes ensuring consistent messaging across all internal and external communication platforms, strengthening our reputation and positioning as a thought leader and child rights organization, and overseeing content creation, PR campaigns, success stories, and crisis communication management.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related field;
  • At least 15–17 years of relevant experience in fundraising, marketing, and communications, preferably in the development/ non-profit sector;
  • A proven track record in leading successful fundraising campaigns and securing high-value partnerships;
  • Strong understanding of donor management, digital marketing, and brand positioning;
  • Experience working in multicultural and multi-stakeholder environments;
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making;
  • Excellent leadership and people management;
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach;
  • Adaptability and innovation mindset;
  • Integrity and alignment with child safeguarding principles;
