Job Title: Senior Accounting Professional

About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and taxation, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase and Sales Ledger Management: Prepare and verify purchase and sales bills to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Cash Control and Transaction Management: Manage cash control, voucher preparation, and daily transaction entries in accounting books or ERP systems.
  • Vendor Payment and LC Documentation: Oversee creditors management, vendor payments via NEFT/RTGS, and LC documentation.
  • Bank Reconciliation and Salary Processing: Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements, salary and wages computations, and maintain salary and attendance registers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in finalizing accounts, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Official Correspondence: Draft official letters related to accounts and statutory matters.
  • Management Information System Reports: Prepare management information system reports.
Statutory Compliance:
  • Taxation: Ensure income tax compliance by computing TDS, filing returns, issuing Form 16/16A, and paying advance tax.
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST): Handle GST compliance, including registration, amendments, challan generation, and filing of GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B.
  • Employees' State Insurance (ESI) and Provident Fund (PF): Manage PF and ESI contributions, UAN generation, transfers/withdrawals, and employee registrations under PF/ESI.
  • Legacy Compliances: Support legacy compliances, including VAT/CST, Excise Duty filing, reconciliations, and audits.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (minimum).
  • Master's degree in Commerce or specialization in Finance/Accounts (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple statutory timelines.
