Job Title: Data Engineering Expert About the Role

The Data Engineering Expert is responsible for designing and building data foundations and end-to-end solutions to maximize value from data.

This role helps create a data-driven culture within the organization, not just within IT teams, but also in the wider business stakeholder community.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build data solutions using advanced technologies such as AWS, Azure, and SAP.
  • Mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Drive implementation efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining processes and workflows.
  • Present reports and findings to key stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to community building initiatives such as Centers of Excellence and Communities of Practice.

 

Mandatory Skills:
  • AWS/Azure/SAP - Master level expertise required.
  • ELT - Experience with Extract, Load, Transform tools is essential.
  • Data Modeling - Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
  • Data Integration & Ingestion - Ability to design and implement data integration solutions.
  • Data Manipulation and Processing - Proficiency in data manipulation and processing techniques.
  • GITHUB, Action, Azure DevOps - Familiarity with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.
  • Data factory, Databricks, SQL DB, Synapse, Stream Analytics, Glue, Airflow, Kinesis, Redshift, SonarQube, PyTest - Experience with various data engineering tools and technologies.
