Job Description

AWS Data Engineer: Delivering Insights through Innovation

We are seeking a talented AWS Data Engineer to join our team. As an AWS Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using AWS cloud services.

Your primary responsibility will be to ingest, process, and store structured/unstructured data from multiple sources. This includes IoT devices, sensors, ERP systems, drilling logs, production data, etc.

You will also implement data lake and data warehouse solutions, optimize data pipelines for performance, cost, and scalability, and collaborate with domain experts, data scientists, and business analysts to translate Oil & Gas business requirements into data solutions.

Requirements

Technical Skills
  • AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lake Formation)
  • ETL/ELT development using PySpark, Python, or SQL
  • Data modeling, warehousing, and performance tuning
  • Data lake and modern data architecture
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices for data solutions
Industry Experience
  • Oil & Gas industry datasets and use cases (production, drilling, exploration, sensor/IoT data)
