Purpose of the Role:

The role of an Entry-Level Finance Trainee is to provide hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and finance. This position offers a chance to work closely with senior accountants and gain knowledge in various areas of finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily financial tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Help with tax computations and returns preparations ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with business and regulatory filings ensuring timely submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Understanding of financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Audit support and compliance expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field preferred.
