Job Title: Director of Data Engineering Testing

Overview

McDonald's is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead comprehensive testing strategy and execution for complex data engineering pipelines and product delivery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end testing frameworks for data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and analytics platforms.
  • Ensure test coverage across ETL/ELT, data transformation, lineage, and consumption layers.
  • Develop integrated testing strategies spanning multiple systems, APIs, and data sources.
  • Establish testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
Technical Leadership

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in data engineering and testing, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be responsible for mentoring junior QA engineers and promoting testing best practices.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
