Job Overview:

As a skilled automation tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our digital solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing using Playwright or equivalent tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation Tester

Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate system functionality and ensure defect-free software delivery.

Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories to guarantee accurate implementation.

Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage to ensure timely resolution.

Contribute to the development of reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.

Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently and ensure effective communication.

Follow best practices in automation and participate in peer reviews to foster a culture of quality and excellence.

Prepare and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to track requirements and their status.

Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity to inform business decisions.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright, Taiko, or JavaScript-based frameworks like Cypress/Selenium.

Ability to independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates, and debugging.

Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or equivalent.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge on CI/CD and API testing tools like Karate, Postman, or RestAssured.
