Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design and implement automated testing frameworks, identify bugs, and ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with test automation tools, scripting, and continuous integration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.
  • Design test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression testing.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Perform web, mobile, API, and backend testing as required.
  • Document and report bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to ensure software quality.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, tools, and processes.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases and scripts.
  • Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ISTQB certification (optional but preferred).
  • Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a mindset for quality.
