Business Head - PLM IT Services

This is a strategic leadership role that requires a seasoned professional to drive the growth of our PLM IT Services Practice. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

  • Practice Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the PLM practice aligned with business objectives.
    • Build and manage a team of experts who can deliver exceptional results and meet customer expectations.
    • Establish technical and delivery excellence within the practice by implementing best practices and processes.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth, and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects and services.
  • Business Growth & Customer Success:
    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
    • Support pre-sales activities, including proposals, RFPs/RFIs, and customer presentations.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop strategies to expand existing relationships.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, and ensure their needs are met through effective communication and issue resolution.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business success.
  • Delivery Oversight:
    • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all projects and services within the practice.
    • Implement robust governance frameworks and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance and quality.
    • Define and monitor delivery KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistent performance.
    • Manage services project delivery with a focus on customer management and satisfaction.
  • Capability Building:
    • Identify future skill requirements and develop plans to acquire or build internal competencies through training, mentoring, and hiring.
    • Collaborate with human resources to attract, retain, and develop top PLM talent.
    • Build a scalable organization supported by strong internal processes and IT systems.
    • Manage the talent pyramid effectively, including skills alignment, attrition control, and resource utilization.
  • Solution Innovation & Thought Leadership:
    • Drive the creation of reusable IP, frameworks, accelerators, and proprietary solutions that can be leveraged across multiple projects and customers.
    • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry events.
    • Stay ahead of emerging market trends, tools, technologies, and competitor strategies.
