Business tax review is a critical component of our organization's success. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Tax Reviewer to join our team, with the responsibility of reviewing and filing business tax returns while providing exceptional customer service to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing business tax returns, including forms like Form 1065, 1120, and 1120s. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, as well as good project management and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and file business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Research complex tax topics on a case-by-case basis, staying up-to-date with changes in major tax laws at both IRS and state levels.
  • Draft replies to tax notices and compile required documents, including contacting state tax authorities and IRS when necessary.
  • Prepare and file 1099 forms for various accounting clients at year-end.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to expand tax department operations.
