Procurement Lead

The Procurement Lead is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by overseeing the acquisition of raw materials.

This involves developing effective procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining cost-effectiveness while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Manage the procurement process to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
    2. Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
    3. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
    4. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
    5. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
    6. Ensure that all raw materials procured meet the required quality standards and specifications.
    7. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
    1. Work closely with the Inventory Management team to ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials.
    2. Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and reduce excess stock.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on raw materials, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and strategies is essential.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills are necessary.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and build strong partnerships is crucial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools is mandatory.
