Job Overview

The primary function of an Electrical Supervisor is to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment in a work environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to strict safety protocols and regulations as per the Mines Act and Electricity Rules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and helpers, providing guidance on standard operating procedures and electrical safety practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of high-voltage equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor power distribution systems and perform load balancing to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices and new technologies to improve overall performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3–4 years full-time)
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in electrical work
  • HT Supervisory License issued by the relevant authorities
  • Experience in electrical installation, including HT Line work
