Database Administrator Role
We are looking for a skilled professional to manage and maintain our database systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in building high-availability database systems, designing and implementing databases according to end-user needs, and ensuring DB Security including Encryption and secure connections between applications and databases.
- Manage database teams and perform core MS SQL Server Administration tasks
- Design and implement databases to meet end-user requirements
- Ensure data security, integrity, and backup/recovery processes
- Monitor database performance and implement changes as needed
- Provide training and support to the team as required
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven working experience as a Database Administrator – MSSQL
- Primary skills on open-source DB like MYSQL/Postgres
- Familiarity with database standards and end-user applications
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL
As a Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our database systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain databases that meet the needs of our organization.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to think logically, and have strong communication skills.
