Investment Director Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deal evaluation, with experience spanning seed to growth stage investments.

As an Investment Director, you will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and leading the investment committee process. You will also be expected to work closely with the portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and support.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Sourcing and Evaluating Investment Opportunities:
      • Develop and maintain relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and other industry professionals to identify potential investment opportunities.
      • Evaluate investment opportunities based on financial models, market analysis, and risk assessment.
    • Due Diligence and Investment Committee Process:
      • Conduct thorough due diligence on investment opportunities, including reviewing financial statements, analyzing market trends, and assessing management teams.
      • Lead the investment committee process, presenting findings and recommendations to the committee.
    • Portfolio Management:
      • Work closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance and support.
      • Monitor portfolio company performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for enhanced value creation.
  • Requirements:
    • Background: A minimum of 5 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, or a related field, with a focus on deal evaluation and portfolio management.
    • Networked: Strong connections within the entrepreneurial community, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with founders and other industry professionals.
    • Analytical: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financial models and market trends.
    • Diligence-ready: Hands-on experience with due diligence processes, including reviewing financial statements and conducting site visits.
    • Execution: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
