Material Handling Equipment Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for an exceptional individual with a strong background in material handling equipment to take on this challenging and rewarding role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing conveying systems, as well as a proven track record in project management and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed designs for mechanical conveying systems, including layout proposals and general arrangement (GA) drawings
- Prepare fabrication drawings for bins, hoppers, chutes, and other material handling equipment
- Generate bill of materials (BOM) for structural steel requirements
- Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and propose practical solutions with minimal downtime
- Plan and execute on-site activities, including erection and commissioning of systems
- Manage fabrication and erection of heavy structures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and conveyor system design
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead site teams as needed
