Occupational Therapy Technician

Job Summary:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Technician to join our staff. As an Occupational Therapy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a licensed therapist to provide essential support services to clients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform occupational hair and skin treatments under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans for clients, focusing on hair and skin-related concerns.
  • Provide guidance to clients on post-treatment care and self-help techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Assist in preparing clients for surgery and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful as an Occupational Therapy Technician, you must have:

  • A diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy Technology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs).
