We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our finance and accounting functions.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial accounting, ensuring accurate preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage financial accounting for the business
  2. Closing and reporting of monthly financial numbers to management
  3. Quarterly statutory audits, including planning, execution, and timely closure of financials
  4. Preparation of balance sheet disclosures on a periodical basis
  5. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines
  6. Close coordination with finance teams for timely closing and reporting of financials
  7. Ensure correct segmental reporting and elimination of group transactions
  8. Review of monthly closing checklist and internal reporting of BS KPI to management
  9. Lead and supervise a team of professionals, motivating and coaching them by clarifying roles and providing feedback
  10. End-to-end responsibility for closure of Financial Statements of parent company and Indian subsidiaries
  11. Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations
  12. Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
  13. Ensure Board deliverables related to quarterly publishing of Financial statements

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant with 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance
  • People managerial skills, teamwork and collaboration, cross-functional and cross-cultural appreciation
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to align strategies and systems to business needs
