Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and administering VMware-based cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on virtualization, storage, and networking.

  • Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, and Cloud Director.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or PowerShell to streamline system administration tasks.
  • Implement and operate VMware Aria Operations and VMware Aria Automation to monitor, build alerting, manage dashboards, and ensure smooth operation of Enterprise Cloud environments.
  • Maintain Linux system administration and development skills to ensure efficient operation of systems.
  • Apply software engineering and testing principles to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Familiarity with deployment practices from Development to Test to Staging to Production is essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required.

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Hands-on experience with Ansible, VMware API integration development, Cloud networking, including VMware NSX, IBM Cloud API integration development, Windows Active Directory administration or development, Windows SQL server administration or development, Jenkins build and platforms, Web UI development, GitHub issue and code management, networking, and network security components, firewalls, gateways, secure engineering principles and best practices, security standards, authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols, Kubernetes, Telegraf, VeeamOne.
