Market Dynamics Analyst

Job Summary

Experienced journalist sought to join global editorial team as senior market analyst covering ferroalloys and bulk ores markets with focus on India.

Candidate will report to Ferroalloys Associate Director and work alongside industry-leading journalists and analysts.

About the Role
  • Research and analyze market trends and conditions to provide accurate and timely price reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders including clients, suppliers and other market participants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Contribute to development of new products and services that meet evolving needs of customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements applying knowledge to improve products and services.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years experience in steel or steel raw materials industries and/or markets.
  • Experience in covering ferroalloys, bulk ores or related markets as a journalist, analyst or market reporter.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrable impact and influence skills.
  • Strong quantitative skills advantageous.
  • Exemplary written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within a team while sometimes operating alone.
  • Ability to manage others while maintaining personal output.
