Software Engineer - Advanced Solutions

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our agile development team. As an accomplished member, you will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle: scoping, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, and develop advanced software solutions in a cross-functional Agile team supporting multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product owners and/or business stakeholders on requirements definition, development of functional specifications, and design.
  • Contribute to or lead the development of technical design and specifications as required.
  • Code, test, and document new applications as well as changes to existing system functionality, ensuring successful completion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years of software development experience using GoLang/Java programming language.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and common modern UI frameworks (React, Vue, Webpack) as well as HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) and containerization required.
  • A proven track record developing fast, reliable, scalable distributed web services.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of RESTful API design, the HTTP stack, and browser limitations.
  • Experience with a micro-services architecture.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Test-driven development mindset and a focus on quality, scalability, and performance.
  • Strong programming fundamentals and ability to produce high-quality code.
  • Solid understanding of Agile (SCRUM) Development Process required.
