Design and Engineering Lead for Solar EPC

">Job Overview:

As a key member of the solar project team, you will oversee the design process for utility-scale solar power plants. Your role involves managing a team of engineers and designers in creating and implementing solar projects that meet technical specifications, are cost-effective, and adhere to industry standards.

  • Oversee the entire design process for solar PV power plants.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Management

Develop and review design plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.

Project Execution

Optimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness while ensuring timely delivery of drawings and project-specific documents.

Technical Expertise

Stay updated with the latest innovations and technology trends in solar PV design and conduct feasibility studies and technical analysis to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management of single plants of 100 MWp and higher.
  • Must have design expertise to conceptualize and design the HT Evacuation infrastructure for utility scale Solar Projects.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup, and Helioscope.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
