Admissions Specialist Job Description

The Admissions Specialist plays a crucial role in driving growth and developing strategic plans to attract, recruit, and retain students.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Growth Strategy: Establish procedures for admissions, oversee the process, and plan promotional activities to achieve enrollment goals.
  2. Promote the University: Develop and implement a business plan and integrated marketing strategy to promote the university nationwide through presentations and speeches at educational fairs and conferences.
  3. Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with area educational constituencies and create networking opportunities to promote the university and attract new students.
  4. Oversee Admissions Materials: Oversee and participate in the development of admissions materials, events, and marketing practices to engage students, parents, and guardians regarding admissions requirements and processes.
  5. Recruit Students: Engage in student recruiting by planning, coordinating, and overseeing promotional events, campus tours, and student interviews to meet prospect Parents/Students and sales goals on a monthly basis.

Key Requirements:

  • Education Experience: Extensive experience in education admissions or sales.
  • Digital Marketing Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing and social networking campaigns for student recruitment.
  • Analysis Skills: Understanding of statistics, admissions requirements, and procedures.
