About this Role:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of automotive electrical and electronic commodities.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, localization, and cost optimization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement of various automotive electrical and electronic components including wiring harnesses, sensors, switches, relays, fuses, connectors, control units, lighting systems, and instrument clusters.
  • Leverage strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure best-in-class quality, cost, and delivery performance from suppliers.
  • Drive localisation projects to reduce dependency on imports and enhance supply chain resilience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and develop new and existing suppliers.
  • Analyse costs, negotiate with suppliers, and implement cost-saving strategies to achieve targets.
  • Maintain supplier performance metrics and implement process improvements as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, localization, and cost management.
  • Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality processes within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP software (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Office applications.
