We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, particularly within the domains of Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS) and Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS).
This role involves both manual and automated testing, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
The successful candidate must have strong experience in software testing methodologies, including test planning, design, execution, management, and automation. They should also have hands-on experience in testing VTS and ITMS, proficiency in Selenium for test automation, and experience using JIRA or TestRail for test management and defect tracking.
In addition, the ideal candidate should have a good understanding of SQL for database management, experience with performance testing tools, knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Java, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
The SQA Engineer will work effectively within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. They will communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders regarding test progress, results, and potential risks.
The successful candidate must adhere to established QA processes and methodologies, contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and standards, and stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Develop and maintain test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and business impact.
